Do you ever have one of those projects that seems as if it's never going to come to an end? I recently redecorated our master bedroom and it is definitely turning into a never ending project!!
I had an idea in mind of what I was going to do with the new decor and then halfway through some things came into play that changed my direction. I was going to go with a layered bedding type of style and then a comforter came into the mix and I ended up purchasing a duvet cover for the comforter from Pottery Barn. Once the duvet entered the picture my newly purchased throw pillows were now questionable. Ugh! I just wanted this to go so smoothly! But nope, not happening!
What I have accomplished so far is new paint color on the walls, art for above the bed, a duvet with matching pillow cases and then I mixed it up a little by choosing euro shams in a different design. Some of the new throw pillows have been booted (I hate when that happens!) I'm sure they will most definitely turn-up somewhere else in our house eventually. So while this was all coming together I was still missing the pop of subtle color I really wanted. After spending a few hours wandering around Target, as I'm sure you can all relate to that one, I ended up in the bedding department and found really cute pillow cases in their "Shabby Chic" section. I'm not really going for shabby chic but who can pass up pale blue cotton/linen pillow cases with a crochet detail along the edge?! NOT me! ;)
Next up ... Windows! I have my eye on shades, but let's see how long it takes before I decide to place the order! Wish me luck on the final piece to the master bedroom renovation puzzle!

Those crocheted edges on the pillow cases had me at hello!
Harper approves of the bedroom decor changes! Really though, he loves the duvet!! Windows are next!
